Last night hubby came home and drank with some friends. I went out with them in and he told me "I know you're on a diet but I know you said you wanted to drink but didn't want the calories. So I bought you some diet/lite cranberry juice so you can have your cranberry and vodka drink you like." aaawww he is so considerate sometimes. I made myself small drinks and had 3 of them. It was nice. However, I woke up with this massive headache...lord I have never felt this way before and I usually drink way more than I had last night. Not sure why I feel like this.

Yesterday, I wanted sweets so bad, so I made carrot cupcakes. By the time they were done I didn't want them anymore. So this morning's am sanck I decided to eat one. The frosting was way too sweet for me so I removed it...yay less calories consumed! And the cupcake was so moist was surprised especially because I didn't have any oil or butter in the mix. (recipe is in my cook book...it's a healthy dessert). By the time I was eating the cupcake I was no longer craving the sweets so I had no desire to eat it. I needed a snack and since I made them I ate one to try it out. It was good other than the frosting too sweet. I will not put frosting next time I make them.

Today is my 7th day of the workout I'm doing and I can either rest or do some stretching. I think I'm going to stretch later tonight. I am tight behind my knees. I helped hubby for about 30 minutes when he cleaned out the garage. Then I came back in and did some work for my business. Now it's my appointment time with my book, so I will chat with you later!

Oh my gosh I recently had the same experience with my boyfriend and drinking....after the last few weeks of eating drastically helthy food I got drunk on an accident at an Atlanta Braves game last night even though I only drank two lite beers. I was really embarassed because his parents were there and I even spilled some of my beer on myself. I guess in the future I will just have one if I want to drink. lol.

I love that you try so many new recipes. The day that you are able to say 'no' to sweets is a great day.
