Back to basics this week... even with stress at a max have been able to hold onto the plan...mother in law passed, full house of company, travel to funeral, much celebrating and comfort foods on the table... not the time to be worried about an extra scoop of carbs. But did ok and my jeans still fit! Biggest downfall was the wine and liquers, not the desserts lol.

What I learned? Lucy was 89 and acted/looked 20 years younger, and that's because she loved life and everyone she met...laughed a lot... good home cooked meals, stirred with kindness and joy... lived on her own up until the last month... we need to follow her example and not get so stressed about little stuff that will not matter when our time comes to join the angels ^!^

Just another reason to be "healthy" and not just skinny...so back to the phase 1 of the plan, more walking and a long and happy life!

good advice! I definitly get too caught up in the little things of everday life and find it so hard to unwind and just enjoy. This time on earth is just a short part of our eternity and we should be able to let the small stuff go. It is all so unimportant in the end. Sorry to hear of your loss. I love that she lived on her own for that long and being a woman from her era living alone was not an easy thing to do.
