Tuna Patties

Tasty tuna patties that are full of protein.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Spray skillet with cooking spray like Pam and heat on medium.
  2. Mix all ingredients together well.
  3. Spoon mixture onto heated skillet. Divide the mixture to make six patties or a size that makes it easy to flip them over with a spatula without breaking.
  4. Cook patties until both sides are a light brown, firm and there is no egg flowing out of patty.

My mom used to make these when I was growing up. We add corn flakes to it to make it go farther.

i love this recipe because it is high in protein. however it is a little bland...like to add chopped red bell pepper, extra spice, and douce it with lemon juice and tapatio before serving...yum!

I really try to eliminate carbs as much as possible from dinner and this was a perfect appetizer for me and my husband to share. I doubled the recipe so I could have it again for lunch tomorrow but used 1 large egg along with the egg white only from another egg for 2 cans of tuna and texture was perfect.

I use diced green onions in my salmon patties for color and taste, I will try that when I make these. I did notice the serving size is 1 and since it makes 6 patties, I doubt I could eat all 6 right? Maybe 3.

I like these, so good I make something simular to this except I like to use 1/4 cup Egg substitute in stead of egg, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp dill pickle relish and a 1/2 tsp dijon mustard; omit the onion.
