Fell off the diet wagon over the weekend... I am torn between stopping South Beach and starting Keto. They do not seem overly different, only Keto is way more restrictive in carbs and SB seems more balanced. I think I'm sticking to SB, I've lost a couple pounds the first week (slow and steady wins the race), but over the weekend I indulged thinking I was getting a "do over".
Ever do that to yourself? Say you'll "start over" on Monday and then go crazy the Saturday/Sunday before eating all kinds of stuff??
Lesson learned: starches make me bloat.

Don’t waste money with south beach diet. Just get whatever foods you wanna eat, track the calories, track your weight, if you’re not losing after a couple weeks of whatever deficit you choose to be in , start to eat less weekly.

And we get hungry in calorie deficits, happens all the time. Not uncommon to be good for 5 days and then eat a feast over the weekend. No worries 👍🏻

They aren’t very different. I do low carb. I count carbs so I guess I’m “lazy keto”. It’s been working for me tho
