Oh No!! You are totally right. I am not normally a candy eater, but I am a total pig when it comes to left over (or even waiting to be distributed) Halloween candy. I think I need to pen a new meditation regarding inner strength with regards to frozen chocolate mini candy bars!!

I only eat dark chocolate candy. I cannot eat any other kind or I feel awful physically.

Rhills - I remember as a kid my grandfather kept Mars Almond bars in the freezer and I've always put candy bars in the freezer!

You're on a low carb diet, try making a few fat bombs. Some are very good, I make the peanut butter/chocolate ones in mini form and keep them in the fridge. I eat 2 or 3 and it hits that candy fix I need.

I guess I'm lucky that the homeowner's association in my community does not allow trick or treating in the neighborhood. I think because there are no street lights. Except for 1 street that is designated every year. I don't know how they light up that street but it works. 3 years ago it was my street. I thought I was prepared, bought lots of candy and thought, hopefully, there would be quite a bit left over. When I went to pick up my sign at the office to show my house was a designated house for the kids to come to, they gave me more candy, at least double what I had bought. I used every bit of the candy on the kids, I'd never seen that many. AND the association drove by a couple times bringing me more candy. Non stop kids, big bunches of kids for about 3 hours non stop. So there is no need for me to buy any candy for my house, but I will donate quite a bit for the neighborhood knowing how badly the trick or treat houses will need it. So although I thought the no trick or treating rule was a bit much when I first moved in, I can see that the neighborhood does really take care of the kids coming out for candy!
