At least it's a loss, and 3 lbs. is great! You may start to lose that 5 lbs. a week again, maybe there was just a stall of some sort this week. You've done well so far, I'm sure you'll reach your goals! :)

mars is right... 3 lbs is still an amazing loss... and sadly its just natural that weight loss will start to slow down.. don't get discouraged or set your goals so high that you can't reasonable hit them and lose ur motivation. i did that and ended up giving up after tons of work... even at 3 lbs a week .. that will leave u at 150 lbs lost in a year! don't lose ur focus.. a loss is a loss :)

3 lbs in one week is awesome! Try increasing your protein intake and having 5-6 meals a day to increase your metabolism.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your comments & motivation. It's just hard sometimes knowing I still have so much left to lose, was just hoping to get an initial 70-80lbs off before it slowed down. I'm not going to give up though. 😃

3 pounds is great. And although 5 pounds would be better....your weight loss will never be consistent - it will fluctuate. I recall you making a similar comment earlier - so I checked you journal...same comment back on March 5! And you've lost 25 pounds since then...that's awesome!
Don't despair - keep on going - you are doing great. Celebrate what you have accomplished...and don't fret about what you have NOT accomplished.Just imagine what you will accomplish by year end. :)
