You guys! I tried brussel sprouts for the first time in my adult life the other night! The verdict: tolerable. I may have them again. They made the house stinky and the texture was good but I still prefer broccoli any day. Off to the store today then relaxation.

Brussels sprouts need frost then they will be milder so it is even better when you buy them frozen. I wrapped halves into bacon the other night and it was delicious!

I like to cut them in half, toss them with a little oil, salt and pepper, and bake at 400 for about 20 min. Stir and bake a little longer. Some of the leaves get crispy. Then I dip them in a simple garlic aioli. Good side dish or party food!

I second roasting them! I love them anyways, but roasted is by far the best way! That goes for most veggies, too.
