I walked a 10K along the Lewis River in WA. This is the longest walk I have done in 8 years. Normally I walk 5K's. I am trying to get back into Volkswalking. It is disappointing to see the sport dwindling in my area. It used to be quite popular. If you haven't tried it look it up on-line. It's free to cheap ($3) exercise.
