Good Morning Ladies! I was a bad girl while I was in Barbados!!! I gained 12.4 pounds!!! My friends also gained weight! We had a private chef, and we turned down nothing!!!! The food was delicious, and the rum punch was even better!! Everything was so good, we just couldn't resist!!! :-) We walked on the beach every morning and even exercised in the pool, but that didn't stop the weight gain. We believe that if we hadn't worked out at all, we probably would have gained even more weight! I'm not upset, and I have no regrets. I had a wonderful time, and I also know how to get the weight off too. Today, I'm back on track. I did my Walk Away the Pounds - 3 Miles DVD, and now I'm going to shower, eat my breakfast, and get ready for work. I have to try and lose the weight I gained because next Friday (11/2/07), I'm going on a 9-day cruise, and you know what happens on cruises - you just eat, eat, eat, and eat!! :-) I'm not too worried about food on a cruise. This is my 9th one, and I'll have more control than I did in Barbados eating all those home cooked meals. :-) Have a wonderful day!

I know what you mean about vacation weight gain. When I was on my honeymoon last year I gained 6 pounds in one week. We stayed at an all inclusive resort in Punta Cana. I think I gained more because of the drinks (best Pina Coladas I've ever had!) than the food. I didn't mind that much at the time either because we had such a wonderful honeymoon. Get back on track this week but do try and be careful on your cruise. Too many gain/lose cycles isn't good for your metabolism and can make it more difficult to lose the weight.

I am so glad you had so much fun. Good for the soul! You will lose this weight again. Have fun on your cruise. Lucky you! two vacations so close together and mmmmmm a private chef! That was nice.
