As much as I love the weekends, I get so excited for Mondays since they are my "official" weigh in days. It is cold and rainy out today, but you would never know it by the smile that is on my face and the pep that is in my step. It is almost as if I can't hold in all of my enthusiasm!
I didn't make it to the gym this past week, but instead I had a blast hanging out with my kids and nieces and nephews all week for spring break. It is a great feeling when you realize how much more you can do and that you are no longer the one complaining about the amount of physical activity that is happening. Even the kids were unable to keep up.
We leave for vacation one week from today. I am so excited, especially since this is a once in a lifetime trip for my husband and I. This week will be extremely busy and I will be working on all of the last minute preparations for when we go. I am hoping that all of my errands and housework will help me to drop a few more pounds by Monday. All the same, though, I will be rockin' my bathing suit and new clothes all week long in Jamaica. I am going to enjoy every inch of this vacation and I can't wait to start it!
God is great!
