I started intermittent fasting and increasing red meat. Then almost 4 weeks ago my husband and i started the carnivore diet. We feel great. Yesterday my coworker told me my skin was glowing!
86.6 kg Lost so far: 10.9 kg.    Still to go: 9.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 0.3 kg a Week

Whoohoo welcome to the tribe 🤣 I'm mostly carnivore. I add some keto dressing and a few veggies like onions from time to time.

@jen yay carnivore buddy! What's your favorite part about it? I love the simplicity, the challenege to be creative within the scope of the diet, and the mental clarity. Once I got into the swing of it and being pretty strict, I've loosened up to be more sustainable and started adding onions to my slow cooker beef roasts. SO GOOD. I commented on one of your posts asking how you make your carnivore chili. I've started to loosen up with spices a bit too so I need to make some chili!

@maili basically it's red meat, eggs, butter. It puts you in ketosis. We're using it for weight loss but also as an elimination diet. Once I got used to my body and mind feeling so good, when I add things in that make me feel like garbage, it makes me want to stay with the foods that make me feel good. It also kills my appetite a lot of days. I don't do it perfectly, I eat a lot of dairy, drink coffee, do a lot of other meats and seafood too. But mostly when I'm actually HUNGRY, I crave red meat.

@slimmerjess thank you! I also was not a big meat-eater. Especially when I was pregnant. Meat grossed me out. But I did crave and eat eggs almost every day of my pregnancy which was very weird for me. After pregnancy wanted mostly carbs. Started increasing red meat, eating more than i thought I'd like. Researched the nutritional benefits of red meat (very nutritious!). After not too long, started wanting it because it made me feel great and reduced my appetite for carbs.
