I ate 2 10 ounce dry-aged ribeye steaks yesterday. I felt incredibly nourished. I was able to get out and I walked 2,924 steps or 1.24 miles, at a speed of 3.1 mph. It took me 00:24:08. I needed to stop 3 times and sat 2 of those 3 stops. My right hip was really starting to hurt and my left knee was beginning to make me limp. But, I came home and rested for 2 Hart to Hart's :)) and got up and went back to my desk, which is HIGHLY unusual for me. Historically, I haven't been able to walk any distance and when I did, I had to rest the entire day or quit whatever I was doing by 2 p.m. and retire to my recliner and sleep.

I ate my 2nd 10 oz dry-aged ribeye steak and sparkling water. It is unusual for me to eat this much meat, but I ate like it was my job and ate until I couldn't put another bite in my mouth because I was so full. It was wonderful. I am in the midst of priming, which I will do for the next 2 weeks or so. Then, I can do some rolling 48's and other fasts that I enjoy doing, that will help with my weight loss. So, right now, I am not worried about losing weight. Rather, I am concentrating on eating until I am very full.

I want to make a note that:

(1) I am noticing hunger signals. I want breakfast and I usually don't get hungry until 4 or 5 p.m.

(2) I also became hungry between lunch and dinner.

(3) I had a small thought of eating something sweet after dinner, but it didn't last long, and I was able to dismiss and ignore it. It went away easily.

(4) I retired to bed at 8:59 p.m. because I felt sleepy and after setting my playlist to fall asleep to and my sleep timer, I fell asleep almost immediately. I woke up at 4:34 a.m. without the alarm. Took my med and laid in bed for an hour, before getting up to make coffee.

(5) I took a shower and washed my hair and got dressed. This is my 3rd shower in the last 5 days. Quite remarkable. It's a sign that my depression is lifting.

(6) I did have a minor chronic pelvic pain episode, last night.

(7) It is challenging to eat all my daily macros. It's alot more food than I am used to eating.

(8) It is difficult to fall within the daily carb gram range of 0-5 grams. But, I am trying to kick the preference for sweeteners. But, doing everything at once, is challenging. So, I will tackle it but it is not urgent, at the moment. But, I have reduced drastically and will continue to reduce until I can tolerate unsweetened drinks.


All-in-all these are some pretty positive signs of good things to come.

My current daily carnivore macros are:

Fat gram range: 212-232
Carb gram range: 0-5
Protein gram range: 144-173
Caloric range: 2,483-2,683 (I'm not calorie counting.)
124.7 kg Lost so far: 2.2 kg.    Still to go: 70.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
