gaining weight, lol. It started when I began my weight training with dumbbells. I don't think I'm building much muscle on such a low cal diet but I can definitely tell I'm building it. I took a week off and gained some fat as well, lol last Wed I weighed in at 215 but didn't record it. I have to get my watch resized again and have a link removed, ha ha.. That's my biggest indicator I'm still losing fat :)
95.7 kg Lost so far: 26.8 kg.    Still to go: 5.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 0.3 kg a Week

I have been reading a lot on gaining muscle and diet. It gets all so confusing with all the info out there. But you need to eat a good amount of food to bulk up in muscle...specially good fats and protein. But the food has to be high quality...not protein bars and shakes. Do some research..there is so much out there on building muscle. Also be patient..strength and muscle gain takes a good amount of time. But if you are seeing strength results then you are on the right path!!!!!

When you first start an exercise plan your muscles retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, small than usual loss or no loss at all. Google "why the scale lies" for insight.

I'm not sure if it's so much of a gain of new muscle or a rebound in muscle mass, I used to be a carpenter for ten years and was in much better shape than I am now, I started a sedentary job about five years ago and have lost muscle and gained lots of wight. I'm thinking it's just my body adjusting again to the strain I'm puttin on it and regaining the muscle I once had. But I do realize protein and dairy is what builds muscle, like I said I'm not building much, My dumbbells are 35lbs, I'm ready to move up but I'm not investing in more equipment, I'm going to join my local gym as they have more options I'd like to start doing. I'm going to reevaluate my calories when I start putting more cardio and strength training in.
