The 30 day chicken challenge (Yes i literally just named it that.. not from a book or site) is now over. I basically ate Chicken, Turkey or eggs for 30 straight days with a green low carb veggie. Asparagus was my go to but also added in mixed garden salads etc, little to no dressing and it had to be 1g carb or under.
If I was hungry I would add extra protein and limited myself to not eating after 7 30 pm on any day. So as far as portion sizes I really didnt monitor that but they were not huge.
One or two times a week I would 18 hour fast but monitored my blood sugar levels 3 times a day to ensure I was not overdoing it.
Overall I can tell you it was hard to maintain that same diet, but well worth it as I am very happy with the results.
