How many of you guys on Atkins follow your calorie intake as well as NC? I'm a little confused been on 2 different sites both for Atkins of course and 1 I'm told to keep track of calories per my height I do not have to go over 1500 - 1800 and on the 2nd site it says just to keep track off my NC not to worry about calories ?????
63.5 kg Lost so far: 3.9 kg.    Still to go: 9.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I think it depends on you. Many people don't and lose and others need t count their calories. No matter which diet you are on, if you take in more more calories than you expend, you can gain weight. Protein metabolizes better than any other food, so you can eat more and still lose weight because all calories are not equal. You can find your daily caloric allotment on calorie calculators. But make sure it takes in to account your current weight, age, sex, height and activity level to be the most accurate. Even then it should be used as a guideline because it doesn't take in to account genetics and metabolism. Do what is good for you and helps you lose best.
