I suppose the good news is a loss is a loss...clearly what I am doing isn't really working (I try to keep low carb, rarely if ever eat any grain products, fruit, starchy vegetables etc.) but the scale don't lie...too much food going in the pie hole. I think I am going to go back to counting calories too.

Studies show about equal results between a lower carb, higher fat diet vs. a lower fat higher carb diet *WHEN protein and calories are controlled for.
So with that being said, if you were to only place your focus on calorie and protein targets, according to the scientific literature, it would be as effective as following a low carb diet.

i find counting the calories to be the best thing. i keeps an eye on what i put into my body.
