Well, The current nutrition plan that my wife and I have embarked on seems to be working well. It's based on the Book "Eat to Live" which is "Nutritarian" based. Meaning that meat is not out of the question, just limit to < 10%.
Another book I am reading and using as a guideline is to eliminate Hypertension (high blood pressure) naturally without Rx drugs. This stresses NO Beef, Pork or Chicken. Fish is OK. NO Dairy as Cacein which is in all dairy products has been linked to cancer.
Whole wheat, whole foods, no sugar. Funny how on this diet, water, just good ol' water (which I used to hate) I now love. I've lost 11 pounds in two weeks so it's working!
