I did end up going that night to the gym and felt great about it!! The variety of reasons were some excuses, but some valid ones... mostly, when I get EXTREMELY tired from work and life, and I still force myself to go gym it up, I end up getting sick. So, if I feel like going to the gym will do more harm than good (i.e. I get sick), then I just spend extra time walking the dogs or getting extra sleep, because I know those things will benefit my progress too, even if it's just psychological! :) Mental health is important too, though! :)
