I joined crossfit a year ago this week. It was one of the best decisions I've made. I've always been a mediocre athlete. but I find a great space in crossfit. in the last 2 weeks I completed my first competition and landed in a 3 way tie for 4th place. The open just started this past week and I wound up entering. this is a worldwide test of your crossfit abilities. I had one of the most exciting moments recently placing within the top .5% worldwide of 37,000 women. I could hardly believe I've come this far. two October ago I was extremely overweight, depressed and unhappy. the lessons? love yourself. make yourself a priority. cancel if you need to. don't be so busy supporting others that you never figure out who your best self is. you are worth it. we don't get this life back to do over. take this as a sign. make today your best and repeat that mindset tomorrow. ❤💪
