Nervous energy hopefully will help lose some more. Youngest child now has her driving permit. She can drive with Mom and Dad now...only she is horrible at driving! I thought we were going to crash 3 times in about a 5 mile drive. We need a car with controls for the parents also! Maybe it has something to do with being over 51 and having a young person driving you? This should be interesting! Hubby says she should not be driving over 35 mph...and he has been out with her twice. I don't know if I have the patience for this on my own.

LOL, sorry had to laugh because I've been there, done that, and never want to do it again!!!! I have two boys. Both started driving at 16. I cannot tell you how many cars were totaled. Parents who go out and buy their kids new cars I simply cannot understand. I've gotten the calls regarding the younger son of "go to the hospital, the ambulance will meet you there." or "he's had a wreck, come get him." The worst was when both boys plus boys from church were in one of our cars with older son driving and I got the call he ran off the road but the ambulance was on the way. Another call came while I was in Physical Science lab and all of a sudden my hubs calls and says meet me at the door we're going to Vanderbilt, Jake's been airlifted from the accident..... Yeah, real fun. The older son, Jonathan, will be 31 years old and it terrifies me to ride with him. He's got a big SUV and I think he thinks since he's in such a big vehicle he safer. Take it from me, it sure doesn't feel like that from one of the back seats! I'd think girls aren't as bad as that.
Good luck K!

Her brother my eldest turned 16 in 2006. His birthday is Feb 28. He got his license on March 2. He rolled and totaled a vehicle on May 12, 2006. Thankfully just a stiff neck out of the deal. He thought he knew everything. She is scared of everything! Today I let her back up a vehicle on our property to a new parking spot. It took her two tries. She stomps on the brake and the gas. I think because she was wearing sandals. I told her from now on she has to wear tennis shoes when she drives. This is going to be very interesting...

Wish you the best. I have 5 that learned and well I will spare the horror stories. I am sure our parents thought the same of us. My dad thought girls should not drive on the parkway. Yeah okay next.

Argh...I feel for you! Maybe she needs to practice in a large empty parking lot until she gets the feel for it!

Oh wow, I hope she improves soon. We want her safe out there. I can’t imagine the worry. And you did lose 2lbs, congrats! I hope that is not from the stress of her driving.
