Ugh. Not bouncing back from my weekend carb backload... this is a problem I'm having mostly with the way the carbs don't come off when you keep eating them. I wish they would have the decency to stop that.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to give in and do it their way. The sneaky, rotten brats...

@Bill, yeh, I lost my blue-line historically when I changed my goal weight to 180. But that's ok... I'll probably lose it again if I change to 170. LOL!

You have a two hour window post exercise where the body simply does not want to store carbs as fats. Insulin crams it into the muscle tissue instead. You're more insulin sensitive in the mornings as well, so easy on the carbs until afternoon. You're dedicated. This is just a glitch. Don't forget for each gr of carb stored you retain 4 gr of water... you lucky guy.

LOL. Like I said to Bill, enjoy what you did, then get right back on the wagon, compensate and it will come off. The trick is not to overdo the carbs but I know from personal experience that they are damn hard to resist.

@NM that is great info, I'm with Bill on that. And it does fit with what I've noticed. I'm pretty rock-solid on not eating in the AM, even on my worst days, I tend not to do that. Luckily I'm just not hungry in the morning... I wish the same was true at night. Hah! Oh well, win some / lose some. @NM, @Bill, @Issy, @Rubie, @Bella, @Chica, @Jass and @Deb... you are all so great. Thank you as always for such amazing support.

Like you told me don't let set backs get you down and cause you to lose focus. You are fine and will conquer in the end.

Things like this happen to us all…I work as a sous chef…which is bad for keeping the weight consistent. Too much temptation and munching all day long. Today I ate 3 blueberry scones, 2 bacon slices, lamb Kabob, some pasta salad, 2 pieces of fried filet of sole and all while working and eating constantly, while working. It's also very bad habit in our kitchen as we can have our meals at work, meaning I can have an endless buffet. I want to stop….it's all crazy. I drink a lot of water all day as it is hot. I have to focus and muster up the will power to NOT eat.

So guys the last couple of days working in a kitchen, I drank a lot of water, ate protein ( 2 hard boiled eggs, 3 oz of grilled chicken, 1 breakfast sausage link) and had 5 rice crackers, some coffee, lemonade (low sugar) and munched on 3 apples…and brown rice with tuna
