Well, I'm still not doing total South Beach because I'm still on low colon impact food. I got some pointers on that from the nutritionist yesterday. By the scale there, I have lost 8 lbs in 5 weeks and 17 overall. I really want to get back to South Beach before I end up with too much sugar in my system (it does make me crave so much). And it's hard to do mostly liquids without sugar. I have been hitting the denser soups which are fine as long as my system can handle them. I hope to transition back to good phase 2 South Beach in the next week. Of course, then I go out of town for 9 days! Georgia

Hmmm, SBD is hard on one's colon?

No, an attack of diverticulitis is hard on one's colon. Treatment is to take it easy on ones colon which means initially fluids and then building up the food, especially the fiber. I went too fast, ended up in pain again, and am now going much slower. A real bummer. Georgia
