I feel like I have been on a diet for a month!! And it's only been 8 days! LOL
Anyway, I am happy with the progress so far. I would have liked to have lost more but if I am honest with myself that probably wasn't realistic.
Around day 4 or 5, I began having terrible cravings for refined foods - especially bagels!! I would have tackled someone for a sesame bagel from Einsteins!! But I really don't want to have the highly refined foods in my diet anymore. So I made a compromise. I picked up a package of 100 Calorie Snack Packs. The deal is - to over the space of about one month - to wean off these foods because I basically went cold turkey. I am hoping this is the right decision and not making it harder on me to get off them at the end of the month.
The other problem I have identified is that I am still eating out of habit - or something to do - as opposed to being actually hungry and I wound up feeling quite sick. So now I am keeping the thought in the front of my mind to stop and check if I am actually hungry before eating anything.
Fingers crossed - but so far it looks good - YEA!! :)
