Not being neurotic just checking out that new scale situation. This is really the NEW start weight. Checked last night and this am. Maybe needed warning up. Good thing is I have had a good two days of eating. Bad thing is I'm having sugar withdrawal taking it out on my husband.

Made it to Friday, so far so good. Cannot see anything SWEET on TV or pasta. I went for years not craving the pasta, eating just a bit here and there, but truly spiraled this last time. Maybe age is making me wiser. For so many years living alone, I made just a serving or two at a time. With my husband I cook the whole box. I have to go back to measuring, weighing, and realize that I can eat these food but in moderation. Cook just for that evening (the idea of freezing doesn't work for me). If I freeze it, I never go back to it, if I keep in fridge for a few days I can eat it too much of it. Baby steps...baby steps. Last night I even craved salt, opened a little jar of anchovies and counted 10 crackers with 4 anchovies. Literally threw the rest down the drain/disposal. Have to watch to not get into the salt/sugar/salt. Work, that's all I can say.
