I got my new Tanita Ironman BC 549 scale today my first reading are weight 249.2 Body fat 9.5% Body water 58.9% Muscle mass 214.8lbs Physique rating 9, DCI BMR 3042 calories metabolic age 12, Bone mass 10.8 Visceral fat 7. At the age of 59 I'm quite pleased and will give credit to Fat Secret I started here on 8/2010 and once I started understanding what I was eating I was able to reach my goal weight and surpass my goal body fat. I have not missed a single days input in my food diary since I started. I will add that the exercise calorie counts on Fat secret are way to optimistic for me even though I do lots of exercise it has been a trial and error to find the proper amount of food to fuel my high activity level and to keep sheading body fat and building muscle just a little bit at a time. I have found that consistency is the key!
