I have a question. My doctor started me on a 1300 calorie a day diet. I told him I couldn't keep that up, so he made it 1400 a day. I have 65 lbs to lose. It seems I see people eating a lot more calories than that in a day and still doing well. What am I missing here and is 1400 calories a day extreme in your opinion? - Tks! Debbie

I’m sorry that I can’t be better help to you, because I’m sort of not the perfect person to ask because I’m not doing extremely well I might weight loss journey. I’m looking to learn as well.

My doctor says its OK for a woman to eat 1200 to 1500 calories a day but I don't know how much it is for men I understand because I'm use to eating whatever I want but now I try to stay under 1200 calories I look at it like this its a lifestyle change instead of a punishment then I started to accept it and do better and FSC support and encouragement help me as well you can do it just take it one step at a time and one day at a time be blessed
