Since being on Ideal Protein, I have completly cut added sugar to my diet and I have cut all breads, pasta, potato and rice. I also have cut fruits as it is not part of Phase 1 of the program and also cut certain veggies high in sugar like carrots, beets and other root vegetables.
I am supplementing with vitamins and I feel great. Another big change to my diet is the elimination of wine from my diet. I was drinking quite a bit of wine on a daily basis and not active at all.
On weekends i do cheat and have a vodka martini...or 2! And the diet still works for me!
It`s a crazy amount of weight to lose in a short period but I feel great and I am not starving! I eat 4 cups of vegetables a day, over 2 litres of water, and protein!
I am excited to move into Phase 2 of the 4 phases of the diet which you do when you have lost 90% of your goal weight!
88.9 kg Lost so far: 3.2 kg.    Still to go: 8.2 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.
