I’m a foodie. I enjoy cooking. 👩🏻🍳And my vices are anything chocolate 🍫 related so I’m glad I’m not the best when it comes to baking. 🤷🏻♀️ It’s a love-hate relationship and I’m in a constant journey to proportion my chocolate & food intake in addition to not view any type of food as “bad food.” As I’ve heard this saying multiple times, I’ve only recently comprehended the advice, “everything is okay in moderation.”🤯
This is something I still struggle with yet I am growing to be kind to myself ♥️ and not be swallowed by self pity if I do overeat or have that extra cookie. This results to an endless cycle of more eating and negative self talk.
I strive to be a better version of myself everyday mentally and physically. However there are definitely ups & downs. I’ve been in a constant struggle to stay fit and make healthy eating choices. It is difficult at times but I try to accept what is, push out the negative self talk and practice self discipline with self love and being kind to myself. 🙏
I’ve been on this planet for 2️⃣7️⃣ years and only remember one specific time in my life where I truly was satisfied and happy with my physical appearance. This was roughly 8 months ago; August 2019. Although my goal is to reach a specific weight, another goal is to learn to love myself with the person I see in the mirror through making healthier life choices and get back to the healthy version of me from August 2019; both mentally and physically.
