So I switched into Phase two and wha-la! Some movement on the scale. I had a South Beach bar and it did the trick. It also got rid of my candy cravings that I've been having.
I ate kind of bad today and I'm feeling pretty bad about it. None of it had carbs or sugar but I'm sure it was really fatty.
Breakfast: peice of ham, peice of cheddar cheese, melted (I feel guilty cause the cheese was the real deal)
Lunch: The girls pestered me to go to the local burger joint, I wanted a salad but they had NO good dressing options, they were all full of sugar or really really high fat. SO I had bunless turkey burger with mushrooms, onions, and swiss cheese BUT then I decided to add a strip of bacon to it. It felt greasy and good but I didn't feel so good about all the fat in my body later.
I'm planning on having an enormous salad for dinner to make up for all the grease I've been eating today.
I have eaten out a lot this week. (4 times, which is a lot for the diet) But I've managed to be pretty good. One day I had a ceasar chicken salad, no croutons. And then another day an egg salad lettuce wrap from a local protein joint and then I added the cup of low carb, chili. I'm feeling rather guilty about the chili because I'm sure it had a little bit of brown sugar in it, but it tasted really fresh and healthy. It was quite a great feeling discovering a resturaunt around my work that serves such awesome high protein low carb options. They are the only place who has ever made a lettuce wrap that's actually edible (meaning it doesn't spill out everywhere and run all over the place). If only every single person on this diet lived in Seattle.
Thanks for all the help, I much more motivated today after the movement on the scale. I've got people at my work even thinking about starting on the SB train!
XOXO
