I am still following this diet to the letter and now that I joined sararay's 20 net grams of carbs challenge, I am pretty sure that I will be very close to my goal weight in no time! I have a challenge on Facebook with a bunch of really good friends and we are keeping eachother motivated beyond belief. I have to thank those people too for encouraging me to go forward with this and not to give up. I knew that I needed to lose some mroe weight, but I guess I just needed the push to do it. I must have gotten comfortable with people telling me that I looked so good (after the 75 pounds weight loss) that I just kind of got lazy and thought, "Oh well, I look good, I don't have to lose anymore..." WRONG! I had another 30-35 pounds to go! Now, I have officially lost 86.8 pounds and I am loving every minute of it because I have worked very hard for it and I deserve to be on top of the world about it. It's not every day that I have done this. I was used to yo-yo dieting in the past, and I have never maintained a weight loss of this much for a period of 18 months or longer. This is truly an accomplishment for me!
Next year, once I have lost and am maintaining, my next big accomplishment is to write my novel that I always said I would. I can't wait!!!
