If you are trying to reduce your blood pressure, eat less sodium. Try to eat as much fresh food as you can afford, cook and eat at home and read nutrition labels. Sodium hides in strange places. Try for about 1500 mg per day and use your food journal to track it. I hope this helps. It worked well for me. Good luck.
