Sometimes your body just plateau's... does what it wants and seems to work against you. Keep doing what you are doing: exercise and stay on your diet. I am also stuck in a rut at the moment: 1.8kg from a mini-goal and nothing...! Arrgghh!! Frustrating! But keep on keeping on: YOU are tougher than this situation tough.

Thank you Ms Cornwall... it is always nice to know you not alone in the boat 🚣♀️ and what I’m struggling with is normal... yes, frustrating is the best way to describe it, but I guess it is as you said, the body fighting back and I appreciate it doing what it is meant to do, SURVIVE 😜... thank you for your encouraging comment, I will just keep doing what is right, until my body realize I’m not fighting🤪🥰...

Don't stress too much about it...remember your body is building muscle (which is heavier than fat.) When I started working out my weight didn't change much for about 3 months, and suddenly I started dropping it quickly. Remember the scale doesn't reflect your progress.

Don’t worry too much about the weight and focus on what you feel like. Often we can be doing everything right to drop the weight and our bodies still fight against us!! 😩 Also keep in mind that you may gain weight due to the fact that muscle weighs more than fat or that your body is simply adapting to your workout routine and eating patterns- so don’t be scared to change it up a bit. Interval training and increasing your water intake will help you to break the plateau spell! Don’t give up ... everything that you are doing for your body that is good is progress in the right direction! :)

Muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less space! Also, when muscles break down after a workout, the fill up with water to recover. So don’t worry too much about the scale, focus on how clothes fit rather, the increase is most likely water weight which will disappear soon

in order to break a plateau, you could try and switch up your workouts intensity and volume.
