After hiking for 2 1/2 hours, I was starving. So since, I burned so many calories with the hiking and the day isn't over (maybe some geocaching later), I allowed myself a lot more calories. I'm trying to make them "smart calories" - some fruit, some vegetables, more meat (protein) for dinner. I had a really good time and plan to do more of the hiking whenever possible!
