I almost didn't record my daily weight in here because it is so depressing to be gaining for two days in a row, but that is exactly how every single weight loss attempt has failed in the past: skipping my weigh-in once, then twice, then dropping the whole initiative until it's a year and 15 pounds later and I try and fail again. That is not going to happen this time. I saw a glimmer of the 160s a couple of days ago, and I will be there again in another couple of days. I can and will do this. Today: hydration, restraint, and an early night. Tomorrow: new day.
78.0 kg Lost so far: 2.1 kg.    Still to go: 4.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 4.8 kg a Week

Keep following your plan and you will see results. There is this myth that weight loss is a constant downward trend. Untrue. You will have ups and downs. Good for you!

It is good to know yourself and how you "operate". I am trying the same for me

I know how you feel. It is tough to admit that you are 1 or 2 pounds heavier and you cop the attitude that if you don't record it, it didn't happen then the next weigh-in will be better. This time it will be different! We will be diligent about recording the weight and keep plugging away.

1 advice from my experience and all the documentaries i watch stop getting depressed about the scale as it can change up to 1-2 kg within the day but start measuring yourself to see you fat % if it reduces that you know for sure you are losing fat & depending on your exercise can gain muscle which will put ++ on the scale but actually the best thing you can have

Mine goes up, mine goes down. The thing is, if you don't log it, you lose track and compromise yourself by abandoning that lower number. Log it.

It's just data that you are recording, not success or failure. You will use the data to make adjustments over time if necessary, but without the information, you would be flying blind.

I'm proud of you for recording the weight! I used to be "all or nothing" with my diets. As long as I did PERFECTLY, I'd stay on it, but as soon as I made the first mistake, the whole thing went in the trash. This time IS different, because this time you're recording, and determined to stick with it.
