Official Weekly Weigh-In
What a week it's been! I have been so completely off track since last Wednesday. However, I'm ready to climb back on the wagon now, albeit tentatively, since it's only been a couple of days since my eyelid surgery.
Since I'm starting afresh today, I'm just going to ditch my old scales and take the remainder of the increase from my new scales. So, I'm reporting in this morning at 150.8lb. However, that's still lower than a week ago, and given I currently look like I've gone several rounds with Mike Tyson and have a face swelled up like a watermelon, I'm not too disappointed!
I'm going to have to take things a bit easier for the next couple of weeks. My consultant says I shouldn't do any exercise for 2-4 weeks, so I'm planning on reintroducing some gentle pilates/yoga after 2 weeks, some resistence training after 3 weeks and then the cardio workouts after 4 weeks. Does that sound sensible?
I can't wait to catch up with everyone again - I've missed all my buddies!
PS I've updated my image to show a "before" photo of my eyes. I normally Photoshop out the bags, but thought I'd better leave them in for once so you can see why I put myself through surgery!!
