I cannot believe that I gained two pounds. I ate very well yesterday and exercised. I can't give up. Although, I am a little discouraged.
I'm keeping it moving and staying motivated.

It's just water retention.

I see that you are new, welcome! I can easily go up and down a pound or two every day! Feel free to check out my weight logs 😉. In the many months I’ve been at this I’ve learned a few things through research and the wonderful people in here. This gain could easily be water retention as mentioned by Keilin. When I eat a lot of bread or pizza or sodium I tend to retain water. It goes away over the next few days for me. You may need to poop 💩. Your hormones/that time of the month may be causing bloat or water gain as well. Are you working out? If so then you could be building some muscle but that’s generally over time not in a day.
May I make a suggestion? Feel free to ignore it 😉. Weigh yourself every day for a month then compare beginning and ending as well as week by week. Weigh every morsel of food you eat as well as any liquid calories from things like soda. Make sure to get 7-9 hours of sleep, drink plenty of water and get at least an hour of movement in daily. You can do that easily by parking farther away, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, turn on the radio and dance around.... you get the idea.
You can do this! It take hard work and patience but you CAN do this and get where you want to be.

It’s normal don’t get discouraged and do not stress about it. Why stress over something u cannot change ? Follow ur plan if there is a trend to lose weight keep at it don’t look back
