Scale is looking good. Currently reading The Salt Fix.
Not sure how I feel about the book, so far he is just finding fault with other people’s research and talking about everything including humans evolved from the ocean.
I’m eager to get to the part that shows evidence of how much salt we need in our daily life. Also what purpose it serves when following a Keto way of eating. I like to know why I am doing things, not just be a blind sheep following the crowd.

Viola— use your Google skills. There is so much information out there to be had. I’m not Keto myself, but I have researched it and found dozens of sights that start with the basics and really do a good job of explaining not only Keto but the theory behind any diet program you want to try.. I always start by imputing “Keto101” or whatever it is that I am looking up. Brings up the basics. Then READ. if there were one MAGIC bullet or formula for losing weight painlessly there wouldn’t be thousands of books, videos, products on the market . If it is a lifestyle change you are looking for so that you don’t have to keep doing this over and over and over again it requires long term commitment and a plan that allows you to be part of the real world. It’s out there. Many of us here live that lifestyle. Good luck.

@kenna I am already doing tons of research and reading lots of books as well as using google to find information. I have been following Keto since June and have lost just over 18 pounds total. I am reading the salt fix as part of my research into different areas of Keto. I have finally gotten my blood glucose under control and I am heading in the right direction. I feel the best I have in a long time. Thank you for your interest.

Yep! What Baskington said and more! Know your maintenance calorie level. How many calories you burn in 24 sitting on the couch doing nothing! It has taken me the better part of a year to loose 25 pounds or so but I wanted to learn why and how I loose and why and how I gain. I started out thinking I was going to go full KETO right to my goal. Well I did go crazy for a minute and I suggest you do the same so you can see the effects of what cutting all the processed garbage foods out of your life can do for you. After just a few weeks of loosing some pounds pretty quickly I found I could control how fast I lost weight. Don’t get me wrong I had struggles putting some foods down and still do overeat from time to time but afterwards I know how to get back on track too. Some other members I Am following are Rosieo, Draglist, Diablo, Chriss77, crashtestdawnie, sharons victory, and Kaybuckaroo and many others. Great knowledge to be found here among good peoples! Good shedding!
