In your profile you indicated that you were on the HCG diet. A few years ago I topped out at about 320 lbs. Some of my friends were very successful to lose 20-50 pounds and maintained their loss using HCG. So I tried it and maintained a loss of 50 pounds and didn't lose any more weight of significance until I found Fat Secret. I did two or maybe it was three 21 day segments. It was easier than doing days of water fasting for weight loss because you could at least eat your 300 or 500 calorie restricted diet. I now use Fat Secret's great tools and community to modify my eating habits and lose weight. It's a little slower but I figured I didn't gain weight overnight so I don't expect to lose it overnight; but within another year. I want to learn how to eat to live with a healthier weight and lifestyle. You can jumpstart your weight loss with HCG but be ready to choose a diet you're comfortable with for the long run.

Welcome to the FS community, Momzii. I also endorse Fartblossom's remarks. I've done lots of different plans and fad diets since I first felt "fat" when I was just 12 years old. I was really at a normal weight through high school but, in my 30s, really *did* get fat. I doubled my high school weight despite trying different weight-loss "deals." I developed diabetes, hypertension, and gout and badly damaged my knees and feet. I'm finally cutting my meds and losing weight after researching the low-carb/high-fat/moderate protein ("ketogenic") way of eating. Your profile mentions that you're now 50 years old and have additional health concerns and 100 pounds to lose, and have resumed what I like to call "the weight-loss Hail Mary play," HGC. I urge you to reconsider that strategy, which can damage your health, and research more prudent approaches.

Yup! I know the HCG diet has it's down side but so did much of everything else that led me to this place. I've noticed it's helped the hormonal imbalance. I feel better already. Best thing is, I have not been hungry at all. Soon as I finish this round I'll go the "Velocity Diet". Intense but I have no time lose.
You can find more about the "V" diet at TNation.com. I've purchased sups. through that sight for years. High quality...The best really. I feel like this is an emergency and I'll do what it takes to bounce back.

The hcg diet def works. That's part of of how I made my big drop a couple years back. Lost a lot of weight fast, but not the best fit for me as a lifter. V diet is also legit. You are on the right track if you want a hardcore approach to rapud fat loss. Following for the win.

You mentioned you only have 43 days. What is the significance of that number.
