More progress acknowledged by the troll scale this morning. Seems the bod is liking the OMAD thing. This will be my 7th day and now that I'm in the groove I plan to just keep it going with the occasional deviation back to 16:8. I'm glad I gave the IF strategy a shot. For me it makes planning simpler. I do like to be able to plan 3 to 4 meals ahead so now that is 3 to 4 days worth.
I did get some walking in yesterday after the rain however my back is apparently a wreck so it got uber painful real quick. I was hoping the drop in weight (42lbs or so now) with alleviate that but it seems a trip to the quackopractor (chiropractor) is in order soon to get things realigned again. Also need to get a pair of good walking shoes and work a PF membership back into the budget now that I have figured out how to work exercise into my day.
Here is wishing you all a good Thursday. Keep focused on what you are trying to accomplish and keep to your plans!

I plan to do OMAD while on vacation. Thanks for the inspiration. I figure if it is working for you it will work for me. Also, shoes are important to me. I switch to my tennis shoes when I get home before my walk and it makes the walk way more enjoyable.

Hope you find good shoes easily. Made a world of difference for me, but later in life I realized stiffer shoes worked better for my older feet.

JLente, I am just starting my diet today, and your comment was the first one that I read. I just learned about one meal a day so I’m smarter already-not any thinner yet, but a little smarter. So thank you! I was really encouraged by reading what you had to say and what a couple of other people have written here. I tend to give up really easily when I am on a diet, and just stop logging calories that I’m not supposed to have. Hmmm, No wonder they’re never successful. I need a head change to actually stick to the number of calories that I should be eating each day. I never used to lack motivation, but somewhere along the way it just disappeared. In fact, I seem to sabotage myself. If a big event is coming up that I want to look good for, I typically will gain a few pounds. How messed up is that? Well, this very happy, well-adjusted woman, who happens to be about 60 pounds overweight, is trying once again and praying to be successful this time. Wish me luck, and thank you for sharing.
