Day 2:
woke up with a challenge...namely a migraine. The medicine I took didn't stay down - so I was a bit afraid of how today would go. Thanks to some anti-nausea medication I was able to stick to my RDI!! I hit about what I did yesterday -just under 1900 cal.
Had some really yummy food, but I think i'm overloading on the carbs.....at least not the "covering all the food groups" ones. Too many bread/pasta types.
Tomorrow - more fruit and veggies.
On the plus side, I am finding I'm drinking alot more water!!! and not really anything else!!!
Yay me!!

started of day 1 pretty good so far!!
recorded all my food - 409 cal breakfast - not bad -- 1500 cals left in the day and I'm headed to work
i"m a bit afraid of not eating enough calories just as much as eating too many. When i work a night schedule I have my 'dinner' at 4 or 4:30 and then I'm hungry when I leave at 9 at night. It's like the 4 is my lunch and the 9 is my dinner -- but I dont want to eat too bad late at night. I wonder what I can eat when i'm done with work that will keep me full but not be bad to eat and at the same time meet my rdi......hmmmm
I think maybe subway for my 4 oclock dinner. Roasted Chicken with spinich, mustard, and banana peppers in my future!!

I've marked my starting date for tomorrow, knowing this weekend wasn't the best time to start. It's like Christmas eve! I'm so excited to do this!! One step at a time - I'll journal my daily food as a way to hold myself accountable and to positively motivate myself to make better choices. I look forward to the support of this community - - and away we go!!!!
