The other day I had my bio metric appointment through my pharmacy done. My waist measurement, height & weight, blood, all that stuff. They measured my waist over my clothes, ran my measurements through the computer and gave me a BMI of 27.3. I measured my waist, it was a good 3 inches smaller than the numbers they wrote down, & about 3 lbs lighter. I'm a bit lost about what my BMI actually is. And aren't they supposed to use calipers on your fatty bits to determine your BMI? I left that appointment feeling fatter than ever! lol!

DH made almond crusted cod, over a bed of mixed baby greens with homemade Mandarin sesame dressing last night. He used a light egg wash, a bit of Louisiana fish fry, mixed in the pulverized almonds, and cooked it in the hot air fryer. The fish was crisp on the outside and super moist on the inside and no fishy taste! Add a glass of Cab, and man! What a meal!
I never thought I could eat this well, feel so satisfied and lose weight! It's been fun finding new recipes and trying new veggies and fruits that we really love.
We replaced rice and breads with quinoa, salads and veggies. We actually use the juicer now too!
Well, thanks everyone for your kind words and for being the heart of what makes FS rock! I really love this site and enjoy reading your journals so much!
