I have gained about 10 lbs this winter. Too much fat and carb. Indigestion led me to eat bread but since then I've learned antiacid works better.
Fat is best in a controlled low car,b low cal diet. Lost three lbs in three days on that premise. Of course, overeating leads to bloat and water retention. Fast loss is inevitable with lower food intake.

Rode in a car for two hours with grandchild who had a horrendous cold. Yes, I knew better but took a chance and didn't get lucky. Coming down with fever, drippy nose and general malaise today. Oh well. So as treatment for getting well fast I ate more (1100)added in some extra low carb veggies and so on and took extra vitamin.
Poor sick grandkid has had this stuff pretty bad for a week. Hope they get better although they prefer an all sugar diet no matter what anyone says. As for me, doing what I can after the fact: Eating healthy stuff, getting lots of rest, using a
nasal rinse three or four times a day until the head cold time is over and hoping it doesn't go into my chest.

138 blood sugar hinted that i might be sick, and afternoon lower bowel upset showed that was true Ate only 1000 calories principally because I could not eat. Being sick isn't fun but it does curb appetite. I am wondering if the eggs made me sick? Except I was kind of queasy on the train coming up also very sleepy and napping a lot.

125 blood sugar. Recovering from another stomach virus, chills, fever, etc but no longer shaky or weak. Blood sugar was a little high but I ate supper at 11 p.m.

had a hard stomach flu starting Tuesday night and recovering Wednesday and Thursday. Hoping to reduce blood sugar, 166, caused by eating carbs to ease sore stomach Thursday.

it might be a year since I entered a weight here. Too much fat. Keto is good for blood sugar but not for weight. I need to lose about 20 lbs to be back to not overweight. It will benefit both blood sugar and high blood pressure.
