So I have finally registered a loss after almost two weeks of gaining, plateaus and just aggrivation. I have had to refocus myself look at what I was eating and get back to the bare bones of the Atkins. I bought the 2002 version which is the last version of of the real Atkins diet before he passed and some other company took it over and re wrote it. So now I am doing just like it says in the book with no variations and I am starting to lose again. Reading the book and getting specific was the best thing I could have done.

I'M FEELING SOME AWESOME WEIGHTLOSS RESULTS ON THE HORIZON!!!
So day two of this low cal version of Atkins and I really expected to be hungry but I'm not and I acually feel great my calorie intake is some where between 500 and 700 calories and I know that I am losing weight because I can feel it but I am not going to weigh in until Sunday so that I can see the cumulative effect.
I also wanted to post my response to my last journal entry about what I am doing I'll keep you all posted:
Ummm yeah meat and salad and eggs but I tell you if you are creative you can really come up with some good food of course my normal cabbage which I am totally addicted to but last night I made a veggie frittata which was great and today for lunch I had a beef and broccoli stir fry that was to die for and I just finished pan seared pork chops with a mushroom onion glaze and sauteed yellow squash w/ onion and a tossed salad with raspberry viniagrette wishbone spritzer you just have to get your mind around not using cheese and during the day I snack on beef jerkey or deviled eggs.

Slot machine of weight loss has subsided I swear everyday for the last 3 days every time I got on the scale who knows what it would say but today finally jackpot I am losing again. I have started a low cal/induction of Atkins basically meaning no cheese, not a lot fats and oils, and lean protien only. I'm thinking that may have got the scale moving again.
Well I will keep a watch on my progress and let you all know. I hope everyone is sticking to their committment to themselves and I wish the best success in your weight loss journey

SLOGAN: "I'm so over it"
I have no weight loss to report today and I had 6 string cheese sticks good ole' cabbage and a 4 oz steak. But I wanted to share this little idea I have shared with some of my buddies here on this site. I went a bought a regular white t-shirt and had it silk screened on it 2007 in the front and "I'm so over it" on the back and to me that means
I'm over this weight issue, having it be the center of my life, stopping me from going certain places because of what I cant wear, not being as intimate with my spouse because of how my body feels and just my overall lack of confidence because I am always pulling and tugging at my clothes covering this or that up etc.
I am so over it... I'm done I have way to many other things to worry about
So come on people are "You over it?" too
