So much for no fast food! I broke down on the 1st. Who in their right mind does that?!?!? Fast food and sweets are my weakness. There is no substitute for vanillla ice cream, Reese's anything, or yummy greasy nachos and french fries. Maybe I should re-evaluate this challenge, and instead of completely eliminating fast food, I shall only have it once, and I will have to choose very carefully as to what I want. I guess I should learn how to have some self control. That is the name of the game after all. As far as going to the gym, I made it yesterday morning, and I'm going to a Zumba class later tonight. I did get a good 3 miles on the bike on Sunday. I plan to do the biking a lot more. I'm so excited that it's Spring time, I just hope it stops raining so often! I will get back into my routine! I can do it!

I am getting back on track! I'm giving myself 7 day challenges: one food challenge and one exercise challenge every 7 days. Starting April 1st, I am challenging myself to not having fast food and to wake up extra early at least three times until April 7th to go to the gym.
It's always a constant battle for portion control! I absolutely LOVE food, but I absolutely HATE what it does to my body. The past couple of days I've been slipping up. Heck! The past couple of months are definately NOT a pretty sight. I think I try to see too far into the future, and I need to focus more on the short term goals to get to my long term goals.
I'm turning 30 in 18 days and my previous goals haven't been met. But I am determined to have 30 be a brand new beginning. I'm finally drama free, so why not give myself a fresh perception of the world, a new attitude, and a daily mantra...and a new body with a better self esteem to go with it. To a new journey and to new goals!
