I have been slacking on this....I am on vacation so i have been busy. I have not been eating bad per say....I just forget to log on here or forget what I ate the next day to the tee.
I had an amazing dinner last night of Chicken with green olives and prunes, teryaki green beans, and au gratin potatoes. Also 2 pomegranite martinis. Very delightful.

It's time for me to invest in a scale at home, since I am off for vacation for a week! Or I can surprise myself and wait till i get back to work and weigh.....
The thing I noticed is that I stay up late and have a little difficulty sleeping lately. I don't know if it's me being aware that my tummy is grumbling....
I am addicted to my creamer in my coffee. I crave it. It makes me happy. I was originally going to rule it out completly, but it's working right now so i will let myself indulge.
I am also grateful that I am doing well on this diet for quitting smoking 2 months ago as well. Im surprised I didn't gain ton of weight.

I didnt finish recording what I ate yesterday evening because I ate things that I could not weigh exactly. I had beef jerky, 2 hard shell tacos, cereal, and who knows what else....( I was with my sister) I found it not really appealing to at the foods that were off of my diet, but my brain kept telling me eat...you are hungry even though i was not. That was a learning experience. I did my sister's hair at the salon, and i wore a tshirt and jeans and so did not like what i saw in the mirror. I am going to weigh myself today at work, if i remember to. I was in a stressful environment with the kids crying and screaming. Today is a new day!!

Wow. I can't believe I lost 7.8# in a few days. I was not thinking the scale would say that! I feel like I lost weight, but I don't look much different. The Author was right. You will lose weight even without exercise. And exercise is supposed to be done right and kept minimal, otherwize you are wasting your time, not burning cals at all. I will try that when it comes to cheat day, which i set at 6 days from when I started and that would be on Monday. I don't know if I want to keep that day, but it will work for now until i get the hang of it.

I made it through the first 24 hours! I was successful and came home after work and did not eat anything. I also did not break down and hit the vending machiene or fridge at work. I did have sugar free creamer in my coffee for work, but it was measured and it was not in access. I also had one more soda than i should of had (when I got home) but that is better than shoving food into my mouth.
The only downfall is that i did not sleep at all last night. I finally went to bed at 0200, and had to get up for 0600, i tossed and turned and had to urinate a lot, my mind would not shut down. I feel okay this morning so far......
