Finally saw 85’s last week Tuesday!!! I was so shocked I took a picture for proof😂 It’s been a tough week regarding exercising. I ovulated for the first time in years and my hormones went into a frenzy. I’m still carrying bloat from ovulation. I’m not complaining though because it means my hormones are finally balancing out. It’s been a tough two years since my PCOS diagnosis. I took myself off the pill a few weeks back because my body told me to. Strange I know, but I listened and have been dropping weight since. Especially my tummy which is what was making me sick. I’m going to try and enjoy the 85’s before I get greedy and want the 84’s (this will be hard). Overall a great week although it didn’t feel like it. Starting this week with a bang!

Will I ever get past 86 point something on the scale??? I’m laughing as I say this -which is growth. My body has a mind of its own. 1 + 1 may equal 11. I feel good knowing that I’m giving this journey my everything and I’m excited come Monday when the measuring tape comes out. One day the scale will shock me and dip below 86KG. Till then, it’s me and my measuring tape.

Totally understand the increase on thighs and hips. Heavy leg days last week Thursday and Friday. I also didn’t hold on to as much water after my strength days as I usually do which makes me assume that my body is finally getting used to the training. Yesterday marked 6 weeks of HIIT.
Dietician told me to log my weekly average weight-as I weigh everyday-to track more accurate readings on the app. If my overall weekly average is decreasing then I’m on the right track. So while today I weigh 86,4KG my average last week was 86,6KG which is what I’ll log in.
Overall, it’s been a great week. Can’t wait for the day my waist hits 79cm!!! Until then, we keep on pushing.

Today marks 4 weeks where I’ve combined counting calories, IF and HIIT. It’s been eye opening, informative and fun. I can definitely see changes (buh bye back fat) and most importantly, my waist is getting smaller, down 5cm from my last Dr’s visit in May. To put that into perspective, it took me 6 months to lose 5cm last I saw her in November 2018. So I’ll take the win YAY!!! I’ve been mad inspired by everyone’s journey on here. It really is amazing to watch everyone put in the work daily. It’s also reaffirmed that everyone’s journey and goals are different and that it’s ok. This took a while because it can get frustrating to see people dropping ,5KG weekly when you are picking UP that amount weekly yet you know you’re putting the work in. It took a mindset change because while the common goal is to lose weight, the journeys will always be different. Lesson learned. I can truly say that the 86,3KG I am today looks and feels nothing like the 86,3KG I was 4 weeks ago. I’ll take that win too.
I’m not measuring cm today because of my pending period. I know I’m holding on to oceans of water. Sharks included hehehe. I want a true reading so I’ll wait a week. Cheers to the week ahead.

Went hiking for the first time this weekend and I’m assuming my muscle soreness (DOMS)has caused the scale gain as my centimeters have not drastically changed to indicate that the increase could be nutrition based. I’ve been weighing everyday to track how and why my body mass increases or decreases and not once in these 3 weeks have I weighed the same for any two days so the jury is still out, however I’ve noticed that the scale goes up on my strength training days and doesn’t go down much after. Lumps and bumps are smoothing out too. Let’s get week 4 and see???
