I bought a pedometer and used it for the first time yesterday- I did 280 steps less than the 10000 advised, but I was surprised to find I'd walked 3 miles just doing what I normally do. So should I record it as having walked 3 miles in my diary?

I've had a few days 'holiday' not particularly dieting or watching what I eat as such and now defrosting the freezers to put this year's veg in and finding all sorts of lovely things I've made! My weighing in day will be tomorrow.
