So, another major personal loss and I can feel Ana at my door. Last month there was a time when I weighed 152 lbs. Just generally overeating and being sad - falling into my partner's bad habits and felt powerless to turn down food in social situations. He wasn't a very good person. The screaming, the demeaning words, finally the demands and what turned into physical abuse. I couldn't take it anymore and I left for good last week. Trying to control something has led me back here I suppose. Trying to convince myself that I'm alright, that things are under control, that I'm not unloveable and that I don't deserve to be treated badly.
I'm going to lose 20 lbs. by Christmas. I want to lose 10 pounds by September and the full 20 by December 25th.

I will NOT eat more than 1000 calories a day. I'm going to take a more focused interest in my body and what I eat. I am going to continue to drink at least 120 ounces of water a day.

YEAH!
Back in the 130's for a minute. LOL
I am probably a little dehydrated, but still. I am sure this number will fluctuate back up, but a month ago my LOW was 147, so I am really glad that I am back on track.
While this medicine does not get rid of all of my seizures, I do feel like I have a lot more energy as a whole than I did before. In the morning I am pretty much useless, but I would say I have 8 or 9 hours a day where I can function - which is about 6 or 7 more than I had before. On the whole I feel groggy and like my though processes are slow, but at least I can actually get up and go to the gym, play tennis, play volleyball, and just get up and move in ways I really couldn't before.
The girl staying at my house in the MFA program this week said, "If by 'Do you want to play tennis' you mean watch tv... or if you could just carry my bed to the court..." That pretty much summed it up.
Been doing some weight lifting - going to hit it again today. Feeling good :)
