The last couple of days has been really busy, and on the road. I brought all my fueling meals with me and was able to pick my one meal at restaurants that I could easily chose a lean and green meal. The problem I did not have the appetite or the time to each of the fueling meals I was supposed to. When I added my intake, I was taken back that I was under my needs each day. I'm not terrible concerned though because I was not home to exercise, therefore I did not need as many calories just sitting in a car. Glad to be back home and in more control. We got home in time to go to a friends home for dinner. She is a wonderful healthy cook. I was able to stay on my nutrition plan easy there for my lean and green meal. :D

I am reading an incredible book to help me try to make longer changes in my life to make my life longer and healthier. I want to enjoy my older years with family in a healthy state. This is the REAL reason I am trying to not only lose weight, but to make lasting changes to bring more physical, emotional, spiritual health. Knowledge is nothing if we don't use it.
I have lost 7lbs in the past two weeks, but I have gained a lot of insight.

I was hoping for more than two pounds, but at least it is down and not up. Glad to have broke the 150 mark I have been fighting for a long time.

Today was a very good day. I used my Optavia all day. Even for supper. I was able to ride my bicycle into town to workout at the club. I felt in control the whole day :D

Yesterday was a better day. After looking at my calculations I need to choose less calories, fats and proteins for my supper. This is the area I have always had a problem with. I need to substitute a leaner protein and do better at weighing it. Same for the fats. Although I have to say the ingredients in my meal were all allowed. I did get my exercise in, which always relieves stress and helps to not have cravings to eat things I should not. Also, I was able to visit my daughter on the phone instead of mindless eating. That is why I prefer to read a book instead of watching TV. I'm not always able to make that choice as my hubby likes to watch TV and it usually distracts me from reading.
