My plan for healthy weight environment.1. Provide good nutrition (Optavia, lean and green) for all occasions. Know in advance where and when and for what occasion I will be eating.Example: party, traveling, watching TV.2. Keep a journal of exercise, weight, meals3. Weigh only once a week, same time of day (important even after weight goal attained)
4. Add variety and keep track of calories after attaining weight goal.
So far this Optavia 5 and 1 has been relatively easy to move into because I was doing the 5 shakes/bars before. The ingredients in the Optavia shakes/bars are less calories and are a great source of appetite suppressant in conjunction with the water I drink, and I love the taste. I never seem to tire of lean meat/fish with a salad and can get this type of meal at almost any restaurant, fast food chain, or when cooking at home. I easily throw bread off of sandwiches at restaurants and substitute lettuce in their place. When at a non-controlled environment I eat small portions and move away from the food as best I can. One thing I know. NO ONE FORCES me to put something in my mouth! It is ALL on me.

This is why I keep a journal...When I did my weekly weigh in I thought I stayed the same weight and was somewhat disappointed. Then when I looked at my fatsecret weight journal I realized I actually lost 3lbs. Considering I had company for the weekend, and I have had to cook, eat out and only got one workout in, I'm STOKED! I forgot when I weighed how much I weighed last time.:D

I had a great week with nutrition and exercise. Last night we went to SUDA Restaurant (we did some A/V work for them) and man was that a yummy Lean/green meal. I stayed away from anything fried, very little rice or sugary sauces. Hubby and I shared a beet micro salad with vinaigrette dressing, edamame, a spicy tuna sushi roll, and we ended with a lean beef loin steak(small portion. It was two for one special and we did some PR for our business. https://sudajh.com/ to see their menu. It was amazing food. I got in four days of exercise and plan on going again today. Next couple of weeks will be difficult as I have some other obligations that may take me out of the gym for time sake, we'll see. My meal plan should not be interrupted though. Loving My Life :D

Down two pounds again. I can't believe I'm only losing two pounds a week. I'm sticking to this plan really well. At least I'm losing and not gaining. I'll try to be more positive. I have to realize that I'm changing my habits for a lifetime and not just for a few weeks.
